Muy Delicioso!

Sunday brunch at Hugo’s was muy bueno. It was a bit overwhelming, though. The problem with buffets is that I want to get my money’s worth. I also wanted to try some of everything yesterday. I tried to take small portions of the vast array of foods they had available, but with so many offerings, that added up.

It was an enjoyable experience, but I think I will stick with dining à la carte.

  • I have conflicting views when it comes to buffets. On one hand I don't have to wait to be served and I can get as much as I want of the stuff I really like. However, on the other hand, it's out for anyone and everyone to hover over and breathe on and drop things into. That's just more people who have access to my food, in addition to all the people in the kitchen that I can't watch. At least it's harder for the other patrons to pee in the food at a buffet.

  • If I find myself in Dallas, I will try Mattito's . When I was in Dallas in February, I dined at Rj Mexican Cuisine a couple of times. I was rather pleased with it.

  • Oh, yeah, I know the feeling! I hate buffets for that reason, but I also like it coz you can chose exactly what you like and also you will know exactly what you will be served. Do you have a special cuisine that you like best?

  • I don't know that there is a particular cuisine that I prefer to any others. I like trying foods from a variety of different countries.
